Induction brazing is a process in which two or more materials are joined together by a filler metal that has a lower melting point than the base materials using induction heating. In induction heating, usually ferrous materials are heated rapidly from the electromagnetic field that is created by the alternating current from an induction coil.
This heater is used for localized heating and brazing of material where heating the entire material is unwanted. The material is placed inside a copper coil with an induced current which produces a magnetic field that heats the desired area on the material. The material can be heated very rapidly (usually 1100 F or higher within seconds) or slowly, depending on the desired outcome. We do silver soldering of several different silver alloys per customers' requests.
